We have to fess up, we are huge fans of the the Bachelor & Bachelorette television series and cannot help ourselves but actually like one season better than the next. We have sung the praises of Rent the Runway, many times before, but the fact that you can now get JoJo's $1,190 Bachelorette finale dress for only $150 is proof positive that Rent the Runway is the way to go! Celebrate & Support Women's Causes
This week Hillary Clinton made history. She became the first woman to accept a major national political party's nomination for President of the United States. Whether you agree with her politics, or not, this is a milestone in women's history and can and should be celebrated. How, you ask? We think the very best way to embrace the moment is to celebrate the women in your life and to support women's causes.
And yes, we are absolutely obsessed with PuraVida Bracelets but not just because they are adorable and affordable, but because you can party pretty, all day and into the night, AND add meaning to your celebration. Part of the proceeds from the sale of all of these bracelets go towards benefiting important women's causes. Additionally, every time you wear them, you help spread awareness of the issues affecting hundreds of thousands of women around the world. In a small way, you become an ambassador for the cause. 2015 has been quite the year. We were so inspired by this Great Gets post imagining Halloween costumes ripped from the headlines. Theme your Halloween and create a ripped from the headlines Halloween party! Tell your guests to arrive in costumes straight off the front page and the evening news — between politics, sports, and culture, there's plenty to choose from! These costumes are easy, fun, and add a touch of humor and pop culture knowledge to any Halloween party. And yes although some of the featured costumes are satirical and poke a bit of fun at politicians and other public figures, we have made a conscious decision not to feature costumes we deem disrespectful, or have the potential to incite violence or foster hatred and we implore you to do the same. Please no Caitlyn Jenner or Black Lives Matter costumes, and please, please stay away from anything and everything ISIS.

Looking for innovative ways for your company or institution to incorporate Ann Curry's challenge for each of us to commit to 26 acts of kindness to honor each child and heroic teacher lost in Newtown? Remember kindness starts at home or in this case, in the office! Start by implementing a Random Acts of Kindness or a 100/0 Principle Day modeled after Smith College’s Mountain Day where every year, the president chooses a beautiful fall day and announces a holiday day off to re-invigorate the soul by ringing the college bells. Even though you most likely won’t choose to give employees a day off, incorporate the concept of encouraging your employess to live life more compassionately by taking authentic responsibility for relationships into the day’s normal routine. The operative words should be kindness and respect and patience with zero tolerance for anything less. This is a good day to review your company's harassment policies and conduct company-wide harassment training.
