With Halloween parties and Thanksgiving celebrations just around the corner we thought we would share this yummy Pumpkin Martini Recipe posted by Beau-coup on Facebook. Cheers! This fall favorite recipe is not only easy to make it is the perfect signature cocktail for all those fall parties because it looks as good as it tastes!
What could be easier? Are you like us — we plan every detail of our parties. We plan the invitations, the party decor, the party favors, the food. But we never think about planning activities absolutely convinced that our guests are interesting and engaging individuals and can easily entertain themselves. (except for children's parties where we plan and schedule every minute).
And then once in a while, we either have a sneaking suspicion a day or so in advance or are caught completely off guard right then and there. It is then we realize things aren't going so well. We have had political conversations go ballistic and strident parenting advice get a bit overbearing. There is not much to do about it except quickly change the conversation. That's where these Halloween printable games come in extraordinarily handy. In just a few minutes, we can change the course of the evening. Don't get caught in a scary spot. Plan ahead this Halloween by having a stack of pre-printed games ready at a moments notice. Have a fun-filled Halloween and party hearty!
One more thought … many of these print and play games work great in a classroom. Some are even customizable so you can tailor them to your lesson or set them aside for your classroom Halloween celebration.
It is still not too late to begin planning this year's family Halloween party! Some of our favorite childhood memories are the years we all met at Max, Harry & Jack's house for a fun pre-trick or treating Halloween dinner party. Their mom, Karen, always had a healthy dinner planned so the kids would not dive right into their trick or treat bags before all the parents had a chance to go through the treats and weed out any suspicious looking or unwrapped “tricks”.
Other than the actual trick or treating, the kids' favorite part of the night was when Karen escorted them to a huge crafting table set up so each child had their own Halloween Popcorn Ball Decorating Kit. Karen always purchased a basic Popcorn Ball Decorating Kit from The Popcorn Factory. Each Decorating Kit came with eight of their delicious signature Popcorn Balls and an array of decorating candy extras – basically, everything you would need to transform the yummy popcorn balls into ghoulies and ghosties and delicious things that go bump in the night. It truly was great family fun!
We love Instagram. We check our feed first thing every morning and today we awoke to this festive end of summer party idea courtesy of Tiny Prints. How fun would it be to send off summer with a toasty treat by setting up a stocked s'mores bar in your back yard! We just happen to have a fire pit (or two) so we can't wait to invite friends over for s'more fun. Although we did like these joyful herringbone party invitations (they are no longer available), in the end we actually prefer the more literal s'mores party invitations available on Minted so there is absolutely no confusion about what to expect – no dinner, no cocktails, simply s'mores. We are especially excited that among the Minted invitation offerings is one of their free online invitations (*free thru 12.31.17) Continue Reading →
