The best party idea we have come across in eons — create you own reusable, customizable glass party plates! These plates will transform your table from drab to fab instantly!
Last year my good friend and colleague, Vicki, came up with the most innovative party idea I have seen in eons but it seemed too difficult for even a fairly advanced DIY maven to tackle without spending hours and hours on each project – reusable, customized glass party plates. Vicki originally created these plates for our 4th of July Celebration party inspiration photo shoot but I have not been able to easily re-create the idea until today. This morning I finally found the solution.

Libbey Crisa Tempo square dinnerware is made of solid glass that is dishwasher and microwave safe. Sold 12 per case.
What you need:
This 8″ square dinner plate from Libbey. Not only is it perfect for this project, it is the new hot look in dinnerware. Popular for appetizers, tapas, salads, entrees, and desserts. The possibilities are endless!
Dimensions:
Length and Width: 8″ x 8″
Eating Area: 4″ x 4″
The highlighted information is the operative fact here. The bottom of the plate is exactly four inches square which means it is the perfect size and shape to apply clear custom window clings to the outside bottom of your plates. These decals are sometimes referred to a clings since they adhere with static to smooth surfaces and are removable & repositionable with no residue.
So check this out — we customized these 4″ x 4″ decals by clicking on the “animal clear decals” button and then adding our text and changing the colors. Originally we thought we would create decals and then found the static clings. Since the static clings would not allow us to change the background color, we simply saved the image we created to our computer and then uploaded the image (feel free to do the same). Wouldn't these make fabulous plates to serve that fabulous lobster & filet Mothers Day dinner from Lobster Anywhere? Perfect for lunch too – just serve lobster rolls! Yum.
Party Hearty!
