Our close friends and occasional PIP contributors, Vicki and Paige, landed in Waco, Texas for a fun week in search of all things fabulous. It did not take them long to discover a set of wonderful burlap silverware holders. We hate to admit it but this was our first encounter with utensil holders and we are smitten. So of course, we felt compelled to spend a couple of of hours researching burlap utensil pockets and then decided to share a few of our favorites with you. Sometimes, the your style is clear almost immediately but more often today's modern bride has a very eclectic style and prefers to incorporate lots of different aspects of her personality, the groom's personality, and family traditions and preferences. We had to post this picture as soon as we saw it. Leave it to Serena van der Woodsen (Blake Lively's Gossip Girl character) to wear 2013's latest trend in wedding dresses – gold & white. This fabulous Georges Chakra Couture strapless gown with a low back is all a-glitter on top and then explodes into a white tulle bottom. It really is so Serena!
There are not yet many affordable gold and white ball gown style wedding dresses available but we are all over this trend so keep checking back as we discover options for you to “get the look.”
