We happened across these adorable ladybug baby shower invitations and were inspired to look for coordinating party supplies. What we really liked was that we envisioned a more sophisticated baby shower in soft hues of pinks, and golds with pops of red and black. We loved that we could mix and match the best of the best party supplies and create this fabulous look which is just the right mix of baby and sophisticated. Continue Reading →
For the last eight years we have been promoting both Tiny Prints and Minted and a handful of other holiday card merchants. Although we were amongst Tiny Prints early advocates, truthfully, we are a bit over them. This week, as we went back through our files reviewing all the holiday cards we received last year, we realized the cards that stood out were the ones from Minted! The paper was better, the printing was better, and the designs were way more interesting. So this year before you place your usual order, we highly recommend you take a second look at Minted.
Minted has a well curated selection of holiday cards to meet any style. They of course offer their highly acclaimed original holiday cards, but also offer Foil-Pressed Holiday Cards, Letterpress Holiday Cards and more. They also make it very quick and easy to find the perfect card. You can upload your photo, and they will show you what it will look like on each card. You can also mark your favorites as you go so you remember which ones you liked best. Continue Reading →
Yes, it is that time of year. Holiday Card Time! And although there are lots of new holiday card designs available, we think, this is the year of the envelope. Yep. Christmas cards all start to look alike but you can set yours apart by 1. Choosing one or two fun photos (we prefer one great pic to lots of ok ones) 2. Choose a foil, glitter, or laser-cut design 3. Take advantage of free address printing on custom envelopes!
Updated today because we should celebrate marriage equality and equality & respect for all, each & everyday!
Today was a day for the history books. The United States Supreme Court ruled in favor of marriage equality for all. At last, #LoveWins. Let's celebrate love for all. Now that same sex marriages are legal in all 50 states you have absolutely no excuse not to start planning your wedding today! Choose a date and let the planning begin by picking out your wedding invitations and the rest of your wedding suite. You can stick with traditional invitations designed with all loving couples in mind or choose an invitation specifically designed for same sex couples. Remember the invitation you choose will set the tone for your entire celebration so take the time to thoughtfully consider how you want to create the beautiful, meaningful, festive celebration you and your partner have always dreamed of hosting. Hopefully, you can find an invitation that will reflect your unique love. Remember whoever you are, whatever style celebration you choose >> love is love. Continue Reading →

The Chinese New Year is the most important and biggest traditional holiday in the Chinese lunisolar calendar! We celebrate the beginning of the Year of the Dog on February 16, 2018. The Lantern Festival will bring an end to the Chinese New Year celebrations on March 2, 2018.
As with many cultures, one modern tradition is the sending of well wishes to family, friends, and colleagues. This year Minted has assembled a wonderful selection of Chinese New Year greeting cards with a stylish take on traditionalism.
This post is mostly so you can access Minted's Black Friday thru Cyber Monday Sales quickly and easily. If you follow us at all, you probably know by now that this year we are all in on Minted. In secular society, January 1st is the official start of the new year but for Jewish people world wide, Rosh Hashanah marks the new year and new beginnings. For me, Rosh Hashana is one of my very favorite Jewish holidays. It is generally celebrated in September or early October. We cannot give you an exact date since the Hebrew lunar calendar is only 354 days verses 365 days in the solar calendar so the days don't line up the same every year. For example, Rosh Hashana 2018 begins on the evening of September 9th whereas the next year the holiday starts on the evening of September 29, 2019. This often coincides with the onset of a new school year. Growing up, when we went back to school shopping we also picked up a new Fall outfit for the High Holidays. To this day we buy a school calendar (September – September) rather than the traditional January to January calendar. It seems more organic, more intuitive. Continue Reading →
We love Instagram. We check our feed first thing every morning and today we awoke to this festive end of summer party idea courtesy of Tiny Prints. How fun would it be to send off summer with a toasty treat by setting up a stocked s'mores bar in your back yard! We just happen to have a fire pit (or two) so we can't wait to invite friends over for s'more fun. Although we did like these joyful herringbone party invitations (they are no longer available), in the end we actually prefer the more literal s'mores party invitations available on Minted so there is absolutely no confusion about what to expect – no dinner, no cocktails, simply s'mores. We are especially excited that among the Minted invitation offerings is one of their free online invitations (*free thru 12.31.17) Continue Reading →
