We just came across this post, Switch Witch ? The Solution to TOO MUCH Halloween Candy, from our friends over at MomMeMatch (the site that has put together by far the best collection of family matching Christmas pajamas we have seen to date). They tracked down the Switch Witch, featured on Shark Tank a few years back, and although the proprietors did not get a deal, they remind us that the Switch Witch is still a fun solution to TOO MUCH Halloween Candy. Best yet, we just checked and the Switch Witch is available with the Amazon Prime One Day Shipping option so you can still get it delivered to your doorstep in time for Halloween! Continue Reading →

Best Preschool and Kindergarten Graduation Present
Every graduation counts >> college, high school, even preschool and kindergarten graduations. Use your child's preschool or kindergarten graduation to reinforce that he or she is growing up and is now old enough and wise enough to be rewarded with the responsibility of an allowance. Financial experts are largely in agreement, even children as young as four and five can begin to learn about the value and responsibility of money. Give your children a few coins each week to save in a fun personalized coin bank from Frecklebox and tell them how proud you are of their accomplishments. This is one of the most important gifts you will ever give your child and it will be appreciated for a lifetime. Continue Reading →

Today's PIP's Pick!
These lovely personalized necklaces are perfect Valentine's gifts. We particularly like rose gold for Valentine's Day (and rose gold is very much on trend this year)!
I am especially partial to name necklaces since my own wonderful mom gave all her daughters a name necklace one Valentine's Day many moons ago. They were particularly helpful for my sisters since their friends often had difficulty knowing which name went to which twin. 🙂
And we love the Moon & Lola “love you more” necklace. #too cute
An OMG Big Brother & Big Sister Baby Shower Gift
Just when when we think there are no more products to put a logo on we are giddy with surprise. These team spirit booster seats make for an OMG big brother & big sister baby shower gift. How perfect is this for a couples shower where so many of the friends invited are college buddies and gal pals of the dad and mom-to-be. Yes, we admit we are jumping the gun because these team spirit booster seats are not meant to replace your car seat. These are the seats your child graduates into once they are at least 40 pounds and 4 years of age. It is the gizmo you keep your child in until he or she is big enough to fit in a seat belt properly. Obviously, only consider this gift if the parents-to-be have the room to store it or if they have an older child who will soon be passing along his or her car seat to the new baby and graduating into a booster seat. Clearly we are true believers that indoctrination into the Trojan Nation, or whatever your favorite college team, works best when started early!
These team spirit booster seats would also make great birthday presents and holiday gifts for children making the transition into the “big kid” booster seat, especially if they are whining that they are old enough and do not need a booster seat. Please, please, do not cave into the whine – according to the CDC (Center for Disease Control & Prevention)
“Booster seat use reduces the risk for serious injury by 45% for children aged 4–8 years when compared with seat belt use alone!”
