2016 gave us some great costume worthy movies. Think Tarzan, Ghost Busters, Suicide Squad, Captain America, and even Louise's outfits from Me Before You. We searched through various halloween costume sites and were disappointed to find several 2016 hit movie characters' costumes failed to make it into warehouses. But don't worry! We have taken the time to comb through hundreds of products and have gathered various combinations to fit the costumes of some of our favorite movie characters.

2014 2015 gave us some pretty great new movies that hit the big screens with a bang! From Divergent to Maleficent to Guardians of the Galaxy, romance, comedy, action, fear stole our hearts and connected us with characters we all can identify with and love as our own friends.
So how come we here a Party Idea Pros were not able to find pre-made costumes for so many of these amazing characters that we are sure we are not alone in wanting to dress up as for Halloween this year? We searched through various halloween costume sites and were disappointed to find several 2014 hit movie characters' costumes failed to make it into warehouses. But don't worry! For the Hunger Game's Capitol Citizens look think BIG, COLORFUL and GLAMOROUS! To DIY all you really need is the base of a wig and puffy dress, then spice your outfit up with accessories galore! Just grab a hot glue gun and go to town with fake jewels, butterflies and whatever else you like. Top off your look with some extravagant face paint and fake eyelashes and don't forget a mockingjay pin to show your support for the Hunger Games!

We could not for the life of us find a purple colored bellboy outfit, but that's okay, for Zero's Grand Budapest Hotel Bellboy uniform just think dressy purple!

Of course don't forget the accessories! We had an extremely difficult time finding anything close to a purple lobby boy hat so we've resolved to instead come up with a DIY process for this essential part of the Grand Budapest Hotel Lobby Boy Costume. Try cutting the brim off a cheap costume style purple top hat and cutting or punching two small holes opposite each other near the new edge of the hat. Next cut and elastic band long enough to wrap under your chin (don't forget to an an extra 2 inches or so for tying) and tie each end of the elastic to the holes. Lastly, finish the hat off by writing “Lobby Boy” with gold fabric markers or puffy paint in large letters across the front.
