Recently we came across a question asking for ideas for a “good things come in small packages” themed bat mitzvah. Seldom do we come across new great theme ideas, so not surprisingly, we were hooked from the get go especially since there seemed to be so many positive ways to incorporate a lovely message into the celebration. Although we have not developed an absolutely complete theme package, this post is fairly comprehensive and covers most elements needed to put together a great party with an emphasis on charitable giving. This unique party theme would also be perfect for a baby shower, school fundraiser, quinceanera celebration, or birthday party or retirement party for anyone of petite stature.
Whether you like playing golf or watching golf, a golfing theme party is a swinging celebration for fans of all ages.
Other fun theme names for your golf party:
Break out the Clubs | Tee off with (Your Name Here) | Tee Time! | Fore Tee (40th Birthday)
Recently we were contacted by a visitor looking for retirement gifts and party theme ideas for a fabulous boss who was being forced out of their company. She jokingly said she would love to use black as the primary color since it is such a profound loss for their workplace. We said no problem. Go for it! Black is always chic and handsome, so why not use it. Continue Reading →
We recently partnered with EtchedWine.com specifically because we love love love these etched wine bottles. Not only do these etched wines and champagnes look great, they make a huge impression. And many of the bottles can be filled with wine of your choosing. We love the fact that you can choose a six liter bottle to be the centerpiece on your wedding or rehearsal dinner tables and not only serve the wine, you can also have your guests sign the bottle as a “guest book” keepsake!
We love this DIY compass place cards idea we found on Beau-coup's blog so much we think we just might need to curate a whole travel themed party theme around it! In addition to weddings and birthday parties think Bar & Bat Mitzvahs, Sweet 16s & Quinceanera celebrations, and retirement parties!

We think it’s safe to say that love is the greatest adventure of all, and your wedding day is the celebration of the two of you setting off on your greatest adventure together! Bring this theme to life with details such as map prints, suitcases as props, and more. One of our favorite travel and adventure themed wedding ideas is DIY compass escort cards. They are the perfect way to help your guests find their seats and even double as a favor. Check out how to make these for your own wedding.
We never have any problem finding great party supplies and paper goods for our gal pal birthday parties, but planning a party for our guy pals, well that is a different story. So when we do find something special we have to share. And this time, like so often, it was a visitor who called our attention to these fabulous VINTAGE DUDE party supplies. Are they not the best?! And now that we know about them, we have found two great sources for buying vintage dude party supplies. It is always nice to have more than one source so not only can you compare prices, you may also have a slightly different product selection. Be sure to also compare shipping costs. For Vintage Dude party supplies, most are available with two day free Shipping with Amazon Prime. On Shindigz, they qualify for free shipping with a minimum purchase but the pricing is slightly better on their party bundles. It really depends on your needs. Continue Reading →
Polka dots, Polka dots everywhere! Polka dots are definitely in style! From polka dot invitations to retro polka dot straws to polka dot party decorations to polka dot apparel. Use dots as the main theme for your next celebration or just incorporate a few here and there for a stylish pop of color and party pizazz. We like polka dots for birthday parties, bridal and baby showers, Bat Mitzvah and Sweet Sixteen/ Quinceanera celebrations, ladies night out gatherings, and even retirement parties since they add a splash of youthfulness sometimes needed as co-workers enter a new phase of life.
Every time we look at this page all we think is so, so cute!!!!!

We all know Valentine's day is pretty much an excuse to get flowers, chocolates and a romantic dinner out of your guy, but why not treat him to a little something to show him you appreciate all his effort.
Let's be fair here, Valentine's Day is not “Ladies Appreciation Day”( as much as we may like to think it is) so show your guy some love this year with one of these great personalized gifts from A Gift Personalized. Guy's may not admit it all the time, but they love getting gifts to show we adore and appreciate all they do for us. We've pulled together a great assortment of manly gifts that your guy will love this Valentine's Day. From engraved money clips to a timeless pocket watch, no matter what kind of guy you have, we will share something they will love.
You know we love a great deal, so we please know these gifts are always sales priced and quite often they advertise special savings once you click over to A Gift Personalized.
These gifts aren't just great Valentine's gifts either, think about father's day, family members birthdays, office gifts, teacher's gifts, grooms men gifts, graduation gifts, anniversaries, and retirement gifts too! If you know you have an event coming up this year and you will need a great guy friendly gift, why not buy now and save yourself some money and a lot of stress.
Both Print Games Now carry Holiday, Seasonal, and Event games; Baby Shower, Bridal Shower, Birthday, Over-the-Hill, Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, Easter, Spring, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Harvest, Christmas, New Year's and Winter games.
If we get one question more than any other, it is “do you have any ideas of games to play at my party and by the way, our guests are arriving in 45 minutes.” Our answer is always the same — yes, go online and order a theme pack of printable games. The biggest time suck is always the actual ordering and, of course, the printing of the games. Something always goes awry — generally I forget to fill in a required field and then have to start the ordering process all over again or my printer runs out of paper or worse yet, the printer jams because it knows I am in a rush. So if you plan in advance, you will not only have peace of mind that you have easily accessible party activities (you have access to the games 24/7), you also have plenty of time to print them out well before your guests arrive.
Have Fun and Party Hearty!
