Let the kids do the work >> We're getting close to Mother's Day and one of the printable games by Print Games Now most loved by moms is the Mother's Day Treasure Hunt. It's packed with tasks for Dad and the kids to complete around the house, made fun in the context of a game. Just copy and paste this link into an email to your husband and let him take it from there. All he needs to do is to print the game out on your home printer early on Mother's Day morning (or better yet, the night before) to keep the kids busy while you sleep in! Continue Reading →
Presidents Day Printable Game
A few years back, I spoke to Deanne over at Printable Games A to Z about the dearth of printable Presidents Day printable games. (we are so missing her site!) Here is what she suggests:
Personalize a Customizable Printable Bingo Card with the names of different presidents:
1. George Washington 2. John Adams 3. Thomas Jefferson 4. James Madison 5. James Monroe 6. John Quincy Adams 7. Andrew Jackson 8. Martin Van Buren 9. William Henry Harrison 10. John Tyler 11. James K. Polk 12. Zachary Taylor 13. Millard Fillmore 14. Franklin Pierce 15. James Buchanan 16. Abraham Lincoln 17. Andrew Johnson 18. Ulysses S. Grant 19. Rutherford B. Hayes 20. James Garfield 21. Chester A. Arthur 22. Grover Cleveland 23. Benjamin Harrison 24. Grover Cleveland 25. William McKinley 26. Theodore Roosevelt 27. William Howard Taft 28. Woodrow Wilson 29. Warren G. Harding 30. Calvin Coolidge 31. Herbert Hoover 32. Franklin D. Roosevelt 33. Harry S. Truman 34. Dwight D. Eisenhower 35. John F. Kennedy 36. Lyndon B. Johnson 37. Richard M. Nixon 38. Gerald R. Ford 39. James Carter 40. Ronald Reagan 41. George H. W. Bush 42. William J. Clinton 43. George W. Bush 44. Barack Obama 45. Donald Trump
We like the idea! And if you are really into Presidential trivia, rather than calling out the Presidents' names you can give unique hints like “he was the 31st President” (Hoover) or “he was elected for two nonconsecutive terms.” (Cleveland) Too bad none of the hints can yet refer to a “she”!
Start A New Valentine's Tradition – Play Valentine's Day Party Games With Your Coupled or Single Friends
If you're in a relationship, the frustration of planning what to do with your special someone can become a tedious yearly endeavor. Inviting other couples to a Valentine's Day get-together can be a fun way to add something new to the holiday while still allowing for romantic time with your sweetheart. Valentine Bingo, Lefty's In Love, and Movie Love Quotes are fun games to play with a room full of people, so the more the merrier! These games would also be perfect for classroom Valentine's Day parties and workplace break time fun!
If you're not in a relationship, spending V-Day alone often feels like rubbing salt in an open wound. That's why having your other friends who are also single over can make the reality of the day not seem quite so depressing. Doing something different and having a Valentine's Day game night can be a fun new tradition to start.
If you have been put in charge of hosting this year’s playoff games or Super Bowl parties, or any football themed party, having the right mix of food, entertainment, and company will keep the party flowing in between passes and touchdowns. For the entertainment >> think printable football games!
While typically during any “Bowl” party, most guests will be focused on the football game, there will always be commercial breaks and half-times when your guests may prefer to stretch and take a break from watching tv. And there are always a few guests who come for the food (and the company) rather than the game itself. So it never hurts to have alternative entertainment, like printable football games, readily available. Plus, you can literally purchase and print them out 5 minutes before the party starts.
If children are invited to the party, they may not want to watch an entire 3 hour football game. Having a fun game option for them, like a pin the football game or a football themed photo booth will give them a break and give them a chance to just be kids. Plus, recruiting the adults, blindfolding them, and making them pin the football on the quarterback would most likely be worthy of a snapchat or insta-story, too.
And for the grown-ups, even if you don’t have a designated time at the party to play games, you could always set out a few trivia themed printable football games. Make sure your friends know that prizes will be awarded to the guest who gets the most answers correct by the end of the televised game. This will encourage some fun competition during the party. And who doesn’t love the chance to win a prize?

Today's mom's have little trouble creating beautiful and festive children's birthday party celebrations but sometimes between our own crazy busy schedules and the quest to throw the this year's most talked about event, we forget to add the little things that make the day especially meaningful. We think it is important for kids to know how much we love them but equally important for them to understand they are not the center of the universe. Children need to learn and develop a healthy sense of self which includes compassion and caring of others. What better day to teach this lesson than on the very day they are lavished with gifts. Teach by example – integrate a “Give back” craft activity into your child's birthday party in addition the the usual birthday fun and party games.
And with the holiday spirit upon us, why wait for your child's next birthday party. This “Give Back” craft activity would be a wonderful addition to any classroom holiday party and equally brilliant to incorporate into your own kid-friendly holiday celebrations. Continue Reading →

What could be easier? Are you like us — we plan every detail of our parties. We plan the invitations, the party decor, the party favors, the food. But we never think about planning activities absolutely convinced that our guests are interesting and engaging individuals and can easily entertain themselves. (except for children's parties where we plan and schedule every minute).
And then once in a while, we either have a sneaking suspicion a day or so in advance or are caught completely off guard right then and there. It is then we realize things aren't going so well. We have had political conversations go ballistic and strident parenting advice get a bit overbearing. There is not much to do about it except quickly change the conversation. That's where these Halloween printable games come in extraordinarily handy. In just a few minutes, we can change the course of the evening. Don't get caught in a scary spot. Plan ahead this Halloween by having a stack of pre-printed games ready at a moments notice. Have a fun-filled Halloween and party hearty!
One more thought … many of these print and play games work great in a classroom. Some are even customizable so you can tailor them to your lesson or set them aside for your classroom Halloween celebration.
