We are so sorry. It looks as if FTD is no longer carrying college roses 🙁

Last Christmas we posted these fabulous sports team knit ponchos under our Ugly Christmas Sweaters for Your Ugly Sweater Holiday Party and really thought they would be the year’s hottest ugly sweater. We might have been wrong on that one but if you had bought one, you definitely could have pulled it out today for Cinco de Mayo, too! How cute would that be! The more we think about it, the more we still believe that all sports fans should own sports team ponchos They are not only great for ugly sweater parties, they are perfect conversation starters at tailgates, and of course, you can wear them at least one more time during the year, on Cinco De Mayo. A big shout out to Wade for reminding us 🙂

Finally, after hours and hours spent filling out applications and writing college essays, and then enduring the interminable waiting game, college acceptance (and rejection) letters are beginning to trickle in. Our advice is simple — toss the rejection letters and celebrate every acceptance whether it is your first choice school or your safety school! Celebrate your achievements and the schools who appreciate you! Once you narrow your choices down and ultimately make the final decision as to which school will be the lucky school to include you in their class of 2015, begin wearing your new school colors. Splurge on college gear. Buy college t-shirts and sweatshirts, hats and caps, college pennants, bedding, watches and jewelry, and anything and everything else to proclaim your new college spirit.
