Seattle Seahawks Themed Wedding (or Better Yet, Rehearsal Dinner)
It is Joe & Adam's favorite time of year – football season! And as they, or more likely their fiancees, are finishing up plans for their upcoming nuptials, it is not too late to add a few personal touches to the festivities. There is absolutely no reason why you cannot say I DO in fan style, so long as you own it! Personally, we would make the rehearsal dinner an all Seahawks (or your favorite team) kind of night and then have the groom and all the groomsmen wear Seahawks bow ties with their wedding tuxedos (Be sure to check out Men's Formal Wedding Attire >> To Rent or To Own? The best argument for investing in your own tuxedo!) Continue Reading →
Are you still searching for a fun, elegant & memorable groomsmen gift? Think Personalized Flask. Yes, as you can quickly see flasks come in all shapes, sizes and materials. The classic flask is either metal or metal & leather but today you can also find collapsible canvas flasks, vinyl wrapped flasks, and glass flasks. Their designs range from simple to well, not so simple such as a flask that looks like a retro cell phone or one that sports the insignia of your favorite NFL team or even a horn-shaped flask.
So where to begin? Flasks are hot and they are everywhere from the traditional wedding favor shops to interesting handmade flask designs on Etsy to a sterling silver flask from Tiffany & Co. Most quality flasks are priced from $25.00 – $35.00 but sterling silver and specialty genuine leather can cost you a pretty penny.
Like each bride, each groom has his own unique style (even if he does not realize it ). So if we were choosing, we would narrow our choices to the look most fitting the groom even if it doesn't 100% go with the wedding theme. A groomsmen gift is all about the guy relationship so if you are all sports buddies go for the sporty flasks. If you are a fun loving goofy bunch, the mustache flasks might be just right, the camouflage flask might appeal a group of guys who go hunting together, or the traditional Wall Street guy might want to stick with a classic black or brown leather style

We happened across these adorable ladybug baby shower invitations and were inspired to look for coordinating party supplies. What we really liked was that we envisioned a more sophisticated baby shower in soft hues of pinks, and golds with pops of red and black. We loved that we could mix and match the best of the best party supplies and create this fabulous look which is just the right mix of baby and sophisticated. Continue Reading →
We love this painted pumpkin vase with fresh flowers that showed up on our Facebook feed from Beau-coup, one of our favorite party favor merchants. Yes, flowers always look great in pumpkins but an orange pumpkin with fall flowers is very predictable. All they did in this photo was spray paint this pumpkin white and add a chic contemporary floral arrangement to create a fresh centerpiece look for fall. We love the painted pumpkin displayed on the acacia cake stand also!
We also think this idea would translate well to an intimate dinner party or could even be used at each place setting as a place card / party favor (one per couple is just fine!). Simply use a miniature painted pumpkin and add a handful of freshly picked ombre flowers...
We are definitely adding this to our We <3 Fall Pinterest board as we gather ideas for this year's Thanksgiving festivities. Continue Reading →
Is your child (or you) a Lego fanatic? If so, a Lego birthday party may be an ideal theme for this year’s birthday party. It is unique, colorful, and yes, playful.
The minute we discovered the featured Lego Party favor boxes, cookies & candies on Beau-coup, our “go to” party favor site, we knew we had to find anything and everything related to hosting a Lego theme birthday party. As we searched for the best of the best in Lego theme party supplies, we realized that often, probably due to trademark, copyright, and other legal restrictions, some of the best Lego party supplies are referred to as blocks, brix, and even blox. Whatever the name, we promise your guests will still recognize them as Legos. Continue Reading →
Leave it to our friends to come up with the best ideas! Today Hanna texted. She is hosting a bridal shower and was thinking about skipping a theme and just celebrating the happy couple. Her concept is to use jumbo bride and groom caramel apples for the table centerpieces. She will probably display them on a pretty pedestal cake plate set amidst scattered flower petals. And of course, will add a petal or two to the plate itself to tie it all together.

There are also ways so many great Christmas flower arrangements but seldom do we find something that is not trying too hard to be a blue version of a Christmas bouquet. Personalized Halloween Cocktail Napkins
When we first saw this picture on Tiny Prints instagram, all we could think of is we need to share this modern take on a very classic party idea. Years ago, no self respecting hostess would consider throwing a party without having ordered personalized cocktail napkins. We find it fascinating that all things from the 1970's are very much back in vogue this year including cocktail napkins. The only difference is that in the day, the graphic was design was usually minimal, maybe a small rose or leaf combined with the guest of honor's name in one of a half dozen or so typography choices. Today, we are privy to fabulous graphics and a whole slew of fonts from which to choose. Continue Reading →
