Save the Date Formats
We love Minted's simplified guide to their most popular Save the Date Formats. With a quick glance you can see your options and the price points for each. Remember, Minted is almost always offering some kind of promotion so you can often get these cards at 20%-30% off. And Minted is also offering FREE wedding websites!
Although many brides try to match their Save the Dates to their wedding invitations, Save the Dates can just as easily stand on their own. The wedding planning process can feel overwhelming, especially in the early stages of planning. Our suggestion is once you decide on a wedding date go ahead and send out the Save the Date that tickles your fancy. You can choose your final wedding invitation later.

Keep an Open Mind
As your get farther along in the planning process and begin locking down all the big & little details, your choice of invitation may very well evolve. For example, just because you have been pinning pretty pink wedding photos all year long, you may decide that for your October 27th mountain top chateau setting your invitations should reflect an earthy elegance rather than pink romance. In other words, every detail does not need to be planned out fully on the day you get engaged. Enjoy the process – wedding planning is a journey. Go with the flow – let the little things slide. And remember it is ok to change direction as new challenges and opportunities present themselves.
One caveat: if you absolutely have your heart set on a particular venue – be sure to confirm its availability prior to sending out your Save the Date cards. If the venue is your number one priority, you may need to be flexible about your date.
Party Hearty!
