Many of them bear beautiful symbols of faith to highlight the significance of your event. PartyIdeaPros.com has combed the internet for the best of the best first communion invitations, ranging from non-photo invitations to invitations with photo placement options.

Moreover, the communion may be the first time friends or distance relatives will have seen your child since the Christening. So by adding the photo to the invitation you are filling them with excitement to see your now not so little one in person. Almost all of the featured communion invitations come in a wide selection of colors, including but not limited to blue, pink and yellow. On the non-photo holy communion invitations a nice religious symbol as the main image clearly displays the message. Among the most popular designs are the cross, rosary, and chalice. The word Communion displayed across the top of the invitation is another appropriate choice.
Make it a Special First Communion for your Child

Foxy everything is by far the latest and greatest animal obsession to hit the states. It all started with the Ylvis – The Fox (What Does the Fox Say?) Video parody created by a Norwegian comedy duo. In just under a month they have racked up 100 million YouTube views, have the web’s most-streamed song, and have booked guest appearances on Ellen Degeneres and the Today Show. This video has even spawned this year's best group Halloween costume.
Now that we are all hooked on the absolute adorableness of the fox, we can definitely see the fox / woodland theme popping up in holiday cards, birthday parties, baby showers and even as nursery wall art. We are at once surprised at just how much fox “stuff” is available and yet how hard it is to find products that work for party decor without having to DIY. Continue Reading →

Plan a Soup Swap Party
Another who woulda thunk it moment! January 18th (the 3rd Saturday of January) is this year's National Annual Soup Swap Day. We originally read about this creative party idea in Sara McColl's Yahoo article entitled “The Only Party Invitation We Want This Time of Year” . I guess it should not surprise anyone that we were intrigued. A winter party theme that is easy to organize, allows you to keep your weight loss / get healthy resolutions, has very little cost associated with it. And best of all you get to go home with one of the best party favors ever – 6 quarts of delicious soups, enough for dinner for a week.
And even if you missed the official soup swap day, no worries. As far as we are concerned any day can be soup swap day.
Soup Swap Party Supplies
What else you and your 5 guests will need:
- Six (6) Quarts of delicious homemade freezable soup
- 6 Ball Wide Mouth Quart Jars with Lids and Bands
- Each invitee should pour the soup into the individual mason jars.
- Jars should be labeled with the chef's name, the name of the soup and the date prepared (you can even include the mason jar labels with your invitations)
The host should prepare an extra pot of soup to be served with a loaf of warm bread and a bottle or two of fabulous discount wine from The Wine Spies. Or need it quickly, check out Saucey. Continue Reading →

Good Things Come in Small Packages
Recently we came across a question asking for ideas for a “good things come in small packages” themed bat mitzvah. Seldom do we come across new great theme ideas, so not surprisingly, we were hooked from the get go especially since there seemed to be so many positive ways to incorporate a lovely message into the celebration. Although we have not developed an absolutely complete theme package, this post is fairly comprehensive and covers most elements needed to put together a great party with an emphasis on charitable giving. This unique party theme would also be perfect for a baby shower, school fundraiser, quinceanera celebration, or birthday party or retirement party for anyone of petite stature.
