Personalized Photo Pillows for Mom

I can just imagine my mom's adorable white maltese, Sugar's face on a pillow!  How perfect a Mother's Day present is a personalized photo pillow.  I hate to admit it but I do think she would prefer a single “Sugar” pillow to 9 individual pillows all with her grandchildren's smiling faces.  Although as I was perusing the newest Zazzle product offerings, I did notice both a Gallery Monogram pillow and a Collage Squares pillow that could easily solve the “too many pillows” conundrum. Be sure to check the deals stripe on the top of the Zazzle site for all the latest promotions! Continue Reading →

Favorite Wedding Favors, Bridal Gifts, & Supplies

No matter how confident we are, sometimes we just need a little bit of reassurance that our style is right on trend or that we actually do have good taste. And often times that confidence is data driven. It is the “If others like it, it must be good” mind-set. So rather than choosing our favorite products for a change, today we chose to show you the most popular wedding favors, bridal favors, cake toppers and wedding themed supplies from one of our favorite wedding merchants, Beau-coup. We were actually planning to feature a few merchants but could not find any others that we liked as much (other than everything wedding on Etsy but it is virtually impossible to determine which of the over 3 million items listed for sale are the most popular). If we do find anything, we will add it below. So keep checking back!

Are any or your favorites among the most popular featured?

Celebrate the Year of the Pig + Valentines Day

The Chinese New Year celebration of The Year of the Pig begins in just a few weeks. Yes, we have had our Chinese New Year cards up for a while now but until today never really focused on the fact that this is the year of the PIG! We love, ok we are obsessed with, anything and everything having to do with pigs! So not surprisingly, we cannot get enough of Gucci's Year of the Pig Instagram campaign and corresponding Year of the Pig products. The featured photos shot by @frankleboner inspired us to create our own year of the pig campaign focusing on our love for pink pig everything. Continue Reading →

Mardi Gras Party Favors and Gifts

Mark your calendars for Tuesday February 25, 2020

Happy Mardi Gras!!

Mardi Gras party favors are as diverse as the celebration itself.  Favors can be fun costume ideas (think feathered boas and beads) to lasting photo memories (photo books and frames). Send your guests home with little gifts of thanks that will keep the party memories alive long after your event has ended. Have a picture station at you party with personalized photo gifts of your guests dressed to party pretty. Customize cookie tins  as sweet reminders of the evening. Playing card cases and lip balm can be customized to your event and guest will keep them for years to come. Party favors are a simple and inexpensive way to wrap2gether your party theme and let your guests know you appreciate them attending your event. Just remember favors don't have to be elaborate favors to make a lasting impression.

Let PartyIdeaPros inspire you to throw the most festive Mardi Gras Party outside of New Orleans!

Fun Wedding Registries

Fun Wedding Registries

Now that you are engaged, in addition to starting to obsess about the myriad of wedding details, you will also want to start thinking about what your life together might look like and all the “stuff” you will need (or might want) to get you started on this life long journey. This week on Small Talk Big Day, Amber lends some expert insight into creating fun wedding registries .

Just one note for your guests >> Even if you receive a Save the Date, we think it is best to wait until you get an official wedding invitation before you buy your wedding gifts. Besides, the registry is a work in progress. Give the bride and groom enough time to edit their wish list. As time goes on their priorities, and even taste, may evolve. Continue Reading →

Tween & Teen Gift Ideas >> Holiday Gift Guide

by Christie

Whether you are looking for Christmas presents,  Hanukkah gifts, or birthday treats, buying a teen gift is actually easier than you might imagine. When it comes to teens (and tweens), think name brands and trends. Teens like to get the splurge items parents prefer not to spring for on an everyday basis as well as trendy items that “everyone else has”. Remember being a teen is as much about fitting in as it is about establishing individual identity. Continue Reading →

8 Nights of Hanukkah Gift Giving Guide

My children still tease me about some of our Chanukah traditions. I must admit, with eight days of Hanukkah gift giving and a limited budget, I often found myself pushing the boundaries of creativity. I often used the holiday to buy them “gifts” that satisfied “needs” rather than “wants” and always designated at least one day to reinforce the importance of Judaism and the Jewish traditions of performing mitzvot and giving tzedakah.

FYI >> We always switched up the order of the nights so the kids never knew which night would be the dreaded (often embarrassing) personal hygiene night
