It is time to start thinking about ordering your 2014 Holiday Cards! There are so many holiday cards from which to choose,it is difficult to know where to begin. If you want your card to stand out from the rest, choose a company that uses high quality paper and unique designs. Even budget cards can look fabulous. Here are the best of the best holiday cards.
We also want to encourage you to take advantage of both Tiny Prints & Minted's “Show with My Photo” option. Even if you fall in love with a particular holiday card, you should not choose it if your image does not work in it. We put together a quick visual to prove our point. We randomly choose a cute matching pajama picture and populated it throughout Tiny Prints. Without our photo we really liked the first laser cut holiday card but as you can see, our picture just does not work in it. The truth is we did not even consider the middle photo card but thought it looked nice with our photo. As for the last holiday card both the sample photo and our picture look equally cute! If we were choosing from these three, we would buy the third one. Which of the three do you think would make the best holiday cards ?
Next we chose a second photo and inserted it on Minted. As you can see, the words on the first photo cut wrong on our picture and the second card cuts off the kids' heads. Our photo works fine in both the third and fourth options but again, for this particular image we think the last design would make the best holiday cards – it truly captures the joy in the photo.
Best Holiday Cards
Last year I laid out all the holiday cards we received and organized them first by quality and then by merchant. I was impressed. Lots of folks are aware that Tiny Prints does a fabulous holiday card but not so many know about Minted and the Minted holiday cards were right there on the top row! And this year, Minted too has created gorgeous envelope options! We are ridiculously excited! Pretty soon we will need to start saving the envelopes as well as the holiday cards! Don't tell that to my husband who already thinks it is crazy I have saved every card we received for the last 30 years. 🙂
Minted is also offering Foil-Pressed Cards holiday cards this year as well as their new Booklette™ Cards and their classic Ornament Cards and Minibook™ Cards.
