Presidents Day Printable Game
A few years back, I spoke to Deanne over at Printable Games A to Z about the dearth of printable Presidents Day printable games. (we are so missing her site!) Here is what she suggests:
Personalize a Customizable Printable Bingo Card with the names of different presidents:
1. George Washington 2. John Adams 3. Thomas Jefferson 4. James Madison 5. James Monroe 6. John Quincy Adams 7. Andrew Jackson 8. Martin Van Buren 9. William Henry Harrison 10. John Tyler 11. James K. Polk 12. Zachary Taylor 13. Millard Fillmore 14. Franklin Pierce 15. James Buchanan 16. Abraham Lincoln 17. Andrew Johnson 18. Ulysses S. Grant 19. Rutherford B. Hayes 20. James Garfield 21. Chester A. Arthur 22. Grover Cleveland 23. Benjamin Harrison 24. Grover Cleveland 25. William McKinley 26. Theodore Roosevelt 27. William Howard Taft 28. Woodrow Wilson 29. Warren G. Harding 30. Calvin Coolidge 31. Herbert Hoover 32. Franklin D. Roosevelt 33. Harry S. Truman 34. Dwight D. Eisenhower 35. John F. Kennedy 36. Lyndon B. Johnson 37. Richard M. Nixon 38. Gerald R. Ford 39. James Carter 40. Ronald Reagan 41. George H. W. Bush 42. William J. Clinton 43. George W. Bush 44. Barack Obama 45. Donald Trump
We like the idea! And if you are really into Presidential trivia, rather than calling out the Presidents' names you can give unique hints like “he was the 31st President” (Hoover) or “he was elected for two nonconsecutive terms.” (Cleveland) Too bad none of the hints can yet refer to a “she”!

There is still plenty of time to organize a fun and festive New Years Eve Party or New Years Day Open House! We must fess up — this is the one party each year we most enjoy hosting. Our favorite theme of all time is “Your Favorite Things” party. We asked each guest to usher in the New Year by bringing something to represent his or her favorite things. Guests brought family favorites such as poppy's butterscotch crunchies, tenderloin in honor of a cook-out we hosted a few years back, and homemade tamales. One year, one of our neighbors, a musician, brought his favorite band along with band groupies and a Hollywood celebrity who showed up in a regal purple suit and honored us all with an impromptu New Year's Eve medley! We always have tons of food, drinks, music, and games displayed in plain view and begging to be played. Charades and Table Topics are perennial favorites. Generally we use New Year's Eve as an excuse to use every dish, bowl, and platter in the house and then we supplement with small plates in every imaginable shape.
As always, Party Idea Pros
has done the research for you and has put together the best of the best New Years products available so you can quickly and easily determine what you might need or what you might like for this year's New Year's Celebration. Wishing you a happy and healthy New Year filled with peace and joy, love and laughter!

In our increasingly digital world, board games might seem like an old-fashioned pastime. But more and more people are turning to board games as a hobby. These days, board games are more than just the classic Monopoly, Clue, and Connect 4. European-style games are a class of tabletop games that generally have simple rules, short to medium playing times (no five hour Monopoly marathons here!) and lots of social interaction. These kinds of games have become incredibly trendy: board game cafes have opened up all over the world! We think that these games can be a great way to connect with family and friends. So why not change up your usual Friday night entertainment and throw a casual board game night party?
Fair warning: some of the games on this list can be played with kids, but some of them are grown-ups only! For games for all ages, check out our Family Game Night post.
