Passover 2026 is just a few weeks away but Passover 2025 was one for the ages. We put together a toddler-friendly seder and set the cutest table that our little ones are still talking about a year later. And almost everything can be delivered within a few days so it is definitely not too late to set a toddler friendly passover table that kids of all ages will love.
As usual, we used our Lenox Autumn dishes but added new white napkins with alternating blue scalloped edging and green scalloped edging. We skipped the Waterford Lismore glassware for this event and instead used the mini wine glasses we ordered for Beau's bris and cobalt blue water glasses. Since we did not have enough bowls for matzah ball soup for everyone in the Lenox pattern, we alternated the bowls we did have with my grandmother's green Anchor Hocking bowls. And finished the table with Matt's mom's classic Tiffany Hampton Sterling. (Yes, we decided to use the good stuff even with little ones. And we are pleased to report, absolutely nothing was broken!)
A Toddler Friendly Passover Table Setting
And now for the fun! We promise you, the table decorations will be loved by all, not just for the kids! Every plate was placed atop a Passover coloring placemat. From there we added bingo cards, and 10 plagues glasses, These stretchy frogs served as place cards. We simply wrote our guests name on each frog with a green sharpie. Additionally, the toddlers also had a 10 plague straw and finger puppets at their place setting.

In addition to our own vintage shabbat tablecloth, seder plate and candlesticks, we borrowed Daniel's Hagaddahs. And then we added a few more fun toddler friendly decorations to our passover table. How cute are these mini juggling matzah balls and the racing frogs!
And for the affikomen we picked up inexpensive afikoman bags and to the delight of all the children we awarded them inflatable passover matzah balls for finding the afikoman. Just a warning: plan on hiding the afikoman at least a dozen times.
Passover Tablewar
Passover is so labor intensive, do not hesitate to use paper rather than china. Really, truly – no one will care. There are quite a few very good disposable Passover tableware options.
