Don't forget to print out a few printable patriotic games for your Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, and President's Day Celebration Parties. They are not very expensive so even if you don't end up using them this time, you will have unlimited printouts for 90 days which takes you way past Labor Day.
We love to have these games on hand just in case … just in case it rains, just in case the little kids (or the big kids) get antsy, just in case your party extends well into the evening after the sun goes down and the lawn games get put away. Printable games are also a perfect evening activity when camping since they are light weight and easy to transport. Consider printing on recycled paper. Additionally, if you are looking for classroom activities for a patriotic school party, these are both educational and fun.
All six of these printable patriotic games will keep your guests guessing and laughing plus you can personalize all of them.
While summer might look a little different than we were expecting, we cannot forget that Memorial Day is quickly approaching. Whether you are celebrating with your immediate household or a group of close friends, bring out all the red, blue, and white decor you have and make the festivities a day to remember. To get you started, we gathered some of our favorite patriotic party supplies from star and stripes table decor to red and blue yard games. Stay safe and have fun!

Memorial Day is just around the corner but there is still plenty of time to order a few extras to add a festive touch to your party and you don't need to spend a fortune to do so. We love the little pin wheel and stars and stripes fans. M & M candies are fun, easy and inexpensive party favor. Good looking paper plates and napkins are always essential. Throw a few small vases filled with swirl pops around the room intermixed with this simple fresh flower arrangement (ok – we admit, no matter how great our decor, it never seems quite complete unless we have at least one vase of fresh flowers). And finally, American flags remind us of the meaning of Memorial Day. Continue Reading →
A few years back, I spoke to Deanne over at Printable Games A to Z about the dearth of printable Presidents Day printable games. (we are so missing her site!) Here is what she suggests:
Personalize a Customizable Printable Bingo Card with the names of different presidents:

James K. Polk 12. Zachary Taylor 13. Millard Fillmore 14. Franklin Pierce 15. James Buchanan 16. Abraham Lincoln 17. Andrew Johnson 18. Ulysses S. Grant 19. Rutherford B. Hayes 20. James Garfield 21. Chester A. Arthur 22. Grover Cleveland 23. Benjamin Harrison 24. Grover Cleveland 25. William McKinley 26. Theodore Roosevelt 27. William Howard Taft 28. Woodrow Wilson 29. Warren G. Harding 30. Calvin Coolidge 31. Herbert Hoover 32. Franklin D. Roosevelt 33. Harry S. Truman 34. Dwight D. Eisenhower 35. John F. Kennedy 36. Lyndon B. Johnson 37. Richard M. Nixon 38. Gerald R. Ford 39. James Carter 40. Ronald Reagan 41. George H. W. Bush 42. William J. Clinton 43. George W. Bush 44. Barack Obama 45. Donald Trump
We like the idea! And if you are really into Presidential trivia, rather than calling out the Presidents' names you can give unique hints like “he was the 31st President” (Hoover) or “he was elected for two nonconsecutive terms.” (Cleveland) Too bad none of the hints can yet refer to a “she”!
After searching far and wide for some fun Veteran’s Day games, we finally decided to call the folks over at Print Games Now to seek out their ideas. Here is their number one and number two suggestions for Veterans Day printable games
Our close friends and occasional PIP contributors, Vicki and Paige, landed in Waco, Texas for a fun week in search of all things fabulous. It did not take them long to discover a set of wonderful burlap silverware holders. We hate to admit it but this was our first encounter with utensil holders and we are smitten. So of course, we felt compelled to spend a couple of of hours researching burlap utensil pockets and then decided to share a few of our favorites with you. We envision using cutlery pockets for weddings, bridal & baby showers, and birthday & dinner parties . We also think burlap cutlery holders could really add that sometime elusive but all so important little splash of wow to your Thanksgiving tables! Continue Reading →
