Tea's styles are perfect for kids of all ages new born -12 years old, and the mix and match design can be dressed up or down for any occasion. We also love that their entire fall collection is Nordic inspired (think Sweden and the newly engaged Princess Madeleine). It combined eye popping colors with clean and modern feeling.
Don't miss out on this great deal to stock up on clothes for your kids all year long!
We are excited to add these fresh and chic red chevron (zig zag) pajamas from Bedhead Pajamas to our Mommy and Me Pajama selections.
Not only do we love this new chevron pattern, we think the whole matching pajama thing works particularly well during the holiday season when family members from all over the globe gather together in one place to celebrate the holidays and their devotion to family. Every year at Thanksgiving we all bunk down together and I always bring matching pajamas for all the gals (I gave up on the guys wearing their matching pj's a few years ago.) And of course, we take an annual family photo.
If you are still looking for matching mommy & me pajamas, be sure to check out MomMeMatch.com. All we can say is #toocute
Do you love Halloween but hate to spend money on costumes? We hear you! When I received an email from Shindigz this morning promoting their $3.99 discount costumes, I almost didn't bother opening the link figuring at that price the costumes would be junky leftovers from past seasons so you can imagine my surprise when I actually found costumes I like! At $3.99, I am 100% sure this Lady Gaga costume will be sold out by tomorrow. Likewise the Born Bad teen costume can't be beat. Not only
is it a great deal for Halloween, college gals should consider snapping it up just to add their costume boxes for Greek events & college parties – I don't need to tell you that every year you will attend at least one Angel & Devil theme bash and this she-devil is particularly cute!
Update! New Halloween Coupon from Shindigz!
I just had to share with you today's email!

I couldn't wait to spend the summer at home after my freshman year at Michigan State. As much as I loved my first year of college, I looked forward to spending time with friends and loved ones. Unfortunately between my summer school class schedule, course assignments, and juggling two jobs I had yet to spend the day with my favorite seven year old, my cousin Alyssa.
Alyssa and I love imaginary travel and have especially enjoyed children's books that take us to lands far, far away. Over the years we probably have read Maurice Sendak's Where the Wild Things Are dozens of times. We have joined both Babar and Curious George as they roam Africa and particularly enjoy Madeline's escapades in Paris. When I read about Tea Collection's Around the World Activity Contest I had one of those “aha” moments. Now that Alyssa has turned 7, I thought she could appreciate and begin to understand the cultures of the world through crafts.
I meticulously began to plan our special day together! I would like nothing more than to win a $500 Tea Shopping Spree for Alyssa's back to school wardrobe! Together we have already picked out some adorable pieces for Alyssa and even found a cute easy to wear, run-around dress for me!
Tea Collection Marguerite Banded Dress | Tea Collection Umi Moraine | Tea Collection Laululintu Tee | Tea Collection La Rambla Dress
All I needed to do was
- Take a photo of Alyssa completing a DIY activity based on one of Tea's Anniversary destinations (Brazil, Turkey, Japan, Korea, or West Africa).
- Add a photo caption describing the destination inspired craft
- Share our experience as part of Tea Collections Facebook entry page
Since PartyIdeaPros.com has been a huge supporter of Wrap2gether.org, a non-profit organization dedicated to global education and social justice, I had access to the most amazing art project ever. Izzy had designed and fabricated original handmade African inspired dwenimmen jewelry to foster cross-cultural relationships and benefit the Mancona International School in Odumase-Krobo, Ghana Eastern Region. Lucky for me and for Alyssa, Izzy had enough supplies left over so we could actually complete an age appropriate project using hand made dwenimmen, a West African Adirinka symbol representing strength, humility, wisdom, and learning.
We decorated the leather with markers and puffy paint to give it that nice tribal feel. Once finished Alyssa couldn’t help but model and show off her new creation.

I am writing this post from the heart of NYC having just spent 2 full days dashing in and out of stores up and down Manhattan looking for style and color trends. If I had to choose just two words to describe fashion designers' Spring 2012 collections, it is BOLD and Happy. Color is universal. Bright oranges and yellows are this year's top colors — better yet if they are done in neon. Prints are everywhere. Not just little delicate spring flowers a la Laura Ashley — oh no, we are seeing big, bold statement prints, on tops, on bottoms, and even on belts. Don't just take my word for it, check out what Marie Claire has to say about neon and InStyle's report that bold prints are a key trend for Spring 2012.
Not surprisingly, Tea Collection, a children's clothing line long favored by celebrities, is right there on trend, and not just for kids anymore. Tea Collection's Bali Chic line for women is just like their kid's line except bigger — it is the same high quality soft and durable clothing with a modern look and global consciousness. Check out their new Balinese batiks and ikats in beautiful, lightweight fabrics and easy shapes. You will love how happy their bright bold colors and prints make you feel. Spring is definitely in the air.
