Bali Chic – Tea Collection's Globally Inspired Clothes
I am writing this post from the heart of NYC having just spent 2 full days dashing in and out of stores up and down Manhattan looking for style and color trends. If I had to choose just two words to describe fashion designers' Spring 2012 collections, it is BOLD and Happy. Color is universal. Bright oranges and yellows are this year's top colors — better yet if they are done in neon. Prints are everywhere. Not just little delicate spring flowers a la Laura Ashley — oh no, we are seeing big, bold statement prints, on tops, on bottoms, and even on belts. Don't just take my word for it, check out what Marie Claire has to say about neon and InStyle's report that bold prints are a key trend for Spring 2012.
Not surprisingly, Tea Collection, a children's clothing line long favored by celebrities, is right there on trend, and not just for kids anymore. Tea Collection's Bali Chic line for women is just like their kid's line except bigger — it is the same high quality soft and durable clothing with a modern look and global consciousness. Check out their new Balinese batiks and ikats in beautiful, lightweight fabrics and easy shapes. You will love how happy their bright bold colors and prints make you feel. Spring is definitely in the air.
Party Hearty!
